Gator previews Michigan's Citrus Bowl matchup with Alabama and debates whether a Wolverines win would hold the same level of value for the program given that the Crimson Tide have relatively nothing to play for.

The Crimson Tide may be out of the College Football Playoff for the first time, but still have a plethora of high-end talent.

“Alabama has 11 of the top 100 prospects coming into the NFL Draft this year. That’s a lot of talent.”

Though star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will be out and replaced with Mac Jones, Gator believes that the game is still an important contest for the program.

“It’s Alabama. No, it’s not Tua, it’s Mac Jones. But, you can’t tell me Auburn feels differently about beating Alabama because Mac Jones played quarterback instead of Tua. It doesn’t matter. It’s still Alabama.”
