97.1 The Ticket -- The Lions didn't get off to the greatest of starts Sunday.
In what has quickly spiraled into another lost season for Detroit, Lions fans were treated to another "SOL" moment early in the second quarter of Sunday's game at Washington.
On the heels of a Matt Prater field goal to tie the game 3-3, Redskins rookie return man Steven Sims had trouble fielding the ensuing kickoff. But he had no trouble re-gathering it, breaking a tackle and taking it 91 yards to the end zone. The touchdown gave the 1-9 Redskins a 10-3 lead over the Lions.
