97.1 The Ticket -- It appears the newest NBA "super team" has been formed.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that Warriors superstar Kevin Durant, former Celtics guard Kyrie Irving and former Knicks center DeAndre Jordan will all sign with the Brooklyn Nets, kicking off the madness that is the NBA free agency period.

Durant will officially make his announcement at 6 p.m. on The Boardroom Instagram page.

Wojnarowski reports Durant will sign a 4-year, $164 million deal, while Irving will sign for four years, $141 million. Terms of Jordan's deal were not reported.

It is unclear whether durant will play during the 2019-20 season after suffering a ruptured achilles tendon in the NBA Finals with the Warriors.

It appears teams across the league will not have to wait long for the major free agency dominoes to begin falling. Other big names on the market include Klay Thompson, Kawhi Leonard and former Hornets guard Kemba Walker, who is expected to replace Irving in Boston.

The Pistons, meanwhile, are expected to sign former league MVP and All-Star Derrick Rose, who delivered a resurgent season with the Timberwolves in 2018-19.
