Report: Juwan Howard A Possible NBA Coaching Candidate

Juwan Howard is becoming the new Jim Harbaugh. Anytime there is a coaching opening in the NFL, Jim Harbaugh's name seems to always be attached.

Now it appears that Michigan head basketball coach Juwan Howard is a "possible candidate," within front offices in the NBA.

ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted the following:

"ESPN Sources: A possible NBA coaching candidate whose name is gaining traction within front offices: Michigan coach Juwan Howard. Howard has an obviously strong resume as a player and later an assistant under Erik Spoelstra. He interviewed for Lakers, Cavs before taking UM job."

Howard has only been with the University of Michigan for one season. It would be very shocking in my mind that Howard would ever leave Michigan this fast for a NBA job.

It really depends on how important coaching in the NBA is for Howard. You might remember that he did cry at the podium when he was hired at Michigan.

Juwan Howard has responded to the report via his Twitter account.
