If the Pistons choose to sell before Thursday's trade deadline -- and that's a big 'if' -- they won't have many tradebale assets. But Reggie Bullock stands out.

The 27-year-old wing is a strong three-point shooter on an expiring contract worth just $2.5 million this season.

Naturally, multiple teams have reached out to the Pistons regarding Bullock, including the Lakers, according to Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times. But the offers haven't been to Detroit's liking.

The Lakers have been among the teams that have contacted the Pistons about Reggie Bullock. So far Detroit hasn’t been very interested in moving him for what they’ve been offered. This is the last year of his deal and he’s making $2.5 million this year.

Bullock's shooting numbers have dipped this season, down to 38.4 percent from three, but he still has a respectable mark of 39.6 percent over his career. And his 44.5 percent mark from deep last season ranked second in the NBA.

In a league where three-point shooting comes at a premium, Bullock is a player many contenders could use.

The dilemma for the Pistons is that the playoffs are still well within reach -- and owner Tom Gores wants to make a push. He said in a visit to Detroit last week that he has a "buyer's mentality" approaching the deadline.

"We want to win," said Gores, "nothing’s changed. We want to make the playoffs."

At 23-29, the Pistons are 1.5 games out of the final playoff spot in the East.
