If the Tigers' asking price for Matthew Boyd is through the roof, it's much more realistic for Shane Greene.
This is why the latter will likely be traded by Wednesday's 4 p.m. deadline, while the former will probably stay put.
Per MLB.com's Mark Feinsand, Greene is the most attainable of the top relievers on the market.

Per source, the asking prices for closers Edwin Diaz, Felipe Vazquez, Raisel Iglesias and Kirby Yates remain very high. Shane Greene's price is "far more reasonable," the source said. Sam Dyson/Tony Watson might be on the reasonable side, too, should the Giants decide to sell.

Joel Sherman of the New York Post went a step further and reported Greene is the surest player to be traded.

Surest player to be traded today? Name that comes up most often is #Tigers closer Shane Greene. “They are trading him,” 1 rival exec said.

As expected from the start, the Tigers won't get a top-tier prospect if they trade Greene on his own. A couple mid-to-upper tier prospects is more realistic, and it sounds like they're willing to accept that.

As Feinsand notes, Greene isn't the only high-end reliever available. And he isn't the most valuable among them. Both Kirby Yates of the Padres, under contract through 2020, and Felipe Vazquez of the Pirates, under contract through 2021, have better numbers and longer track records.

Still, the market for Greene is healthy. The list of interested teams includes the Yankees, Rays, Phillies, Nationals, Braves and Dodgers. Surely, out of those contenders, Tigers GM Al Avila can find a deal to his liking.

Greene, who's under team control through next season, has a 1.18 ERA and a 0.868 WHIP this season, but his underlying numbers suggest regression is on the horizon.
