DETROIT- The Detroit Tigers today announced their 2019 Spring Training broadcast schedule, which features 21 radio broadcasts on WXYT and 10 television broadcasts on FOX Sports Detroit.
The veteran Tigers radio team of Dan Dickerson and Jim Price will call most of the action on 97.1 FM The Ticket and WXYT 1270 AM. Dan Hasty, who broadcasts games for Single A West Michigan and Greg Gania, who broadcasts for Double A Erie, will provide play-by-play for two games in the spring, Monday, February 25 and Saturday, March 23, respectively. The schedule is subject to change based on programming conflicts.
Tune in to FOX Sports Detroit for 10 game broadcasts during the Grapefruit League schedule, including February 25 against the Philadelphia Phillies, March 11 against the Minnesota Twins, March 14 vs. the World Series Champion Boston Red Sox, March 15 against the Tampa Bay Rays, March 17 vs. the Atlanta Braves, March 21 vs. the Houston Astros, March 22 against the Atlanta Braves, March 24 vs. the Toronto Blue Jays and to close out the spring season on March 26, the Tampa Bay Rays. For the five games in Lakeland, Matt Shepard will serve as the play-by-play voice, while Kirk Gibson and Jack Morris will alternate as analysts.
This spring will mark the Tigers 83rd season at TigerTown in Lakeland, extending the longest-standing relationship between a Major League team and a current Spring Training host city. The 2019 spring season marks the club's 54th consecutive season of exhibition play at the recently renovated Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium.

A variety of ticket options for the upcoming 2019 season at Publix Feld at Joker Marchant Stadium are currently on sale. There are 16 covered sections, increasing the number of covered seats from 1,246 to 2,098 seats, while more seats will be shaded with the extended roof.
