Tigers Draft 3B Gage Workman In Fourth Round Of 2020 MLB Draft

The Tigers added to their growing stash of prospects by selecting 3B Gage Workman with the 102nd overall pick in the 2020 MLB Draft Thursday night. 

Gage Workman comes from Arizona State.  He hit .330 with an .941 OPS in his sophomore season and was hitting .250 with a .786 OPS through 17 games this year. 

The Tigers entered the draft with the fifth-best farm system in baseball, and it's only gotten better since. They took Arizona State slugger Spencer Torkelson No. 1 overall and Ohio State catcher Dillon Dingler with the first pick in round two, two potential cornerstones. 

They also drafted LF Daniel Cabrera and SS Trei Cruz
