LAKELAND – The Detroit Tigers today selected 30 players on the second day of the 2019 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. Over all 40 rounds of this year's draft, the Tigers picked 23 position players (one C, 14 INF and eight OF) and 17 pitchers (11 RH, six LH).
