For a pair of Michigan State fans, it appears a great weekend just got better.

Not only did the two learn the gender of their unborn baby, but Tom Izzo delivered the news.

The couple approached Izzo on the court at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, where Michigan State will play Texas Tech in the Final Four Saturday night, during his team's open practice Friday afternoon. They held a sign with an arrow pointed to an envelope that read, "Future Spartan Gender Inside."

Izzo asked, "What do you want me to do?"

They just had their doctor appointment Friday morning, they told Izzo. Open it!

Izzo happily obliged, and a few moments later raised his arms in the air and exclaimed, "It's a boy!"

Cassius Winston, standing right behind Izzo, shouted in excitement and then hugged both members of the couple.

Then it was back to practice for the Spartans.

As a father of two, Izzo can relate to the couple's excitement.
