97.1 The Ticket -- In perhaps the biggest surprise in the first round of Thursday night's NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors selected former Michigan guard Jordan Poole with the 28th overall pick.
Many believed there was a chance that Poole would go undrafted after leaving Michigan following his sophomore season. Many mock drafts had projected Poole to either be selected late in the second round or not at all.
Poole burst onto the scene in 2018 when he drained a buzzer beater against Houston that sent the Wolverines to the Sweet 16, before eventually advancing to the national championship game.
