(97.1 The Ticket) -- Father Time apparently never caught up with Vince Carter.

On the verge of returning for a 22nd season in the NBA next season, Carter showed off at Oracle Arena that he can still throw down.

Reverse.

In dress clothes.

Sure, he's not the same high-flying guy who delivered some of the best NBA Dunk Contest jams of all time, but this is still a pretty impressive dunk for a 42-year-old man who has spent literally half of his life in the NBA.

Carter announced this week he intends to play one last season in 2019-20. If he plays in a game in 2020, he will be the first NBA player ever to play in four different decades.

While his game has changed rather drastically over the years, he's still been relatively productive in recent seasons. He put up 7.4 PPG in 76 games last season for the Hawks.

Keep defying time and keep giving us highlights, Vince.
