DETROIT (97.1 The Ticket) -- New Lions wide receiver Danny Amendola hasn't taken the field yet at Ford Field, but he was across the street Tuesday showing off what he's got in a different sport.
Amendola took batting practice with the Tigers and from the looks of things, he could be the missing bat the Tigers need.
Ok, maybe not really, but the wide receiver showed his power from both sides of the plate, hitting a home run right-handed and nearly taking one out to right field as a lefty.
