In fact, he has a whole vision, which he pitched on social media in hopes of manifesting it.

"Just going to throw this out into the atmosphere and see what happens. Here we go... Me and Momoa in a Lethal Weapon-type buddy cop movie directed by David Leitch. Ok! There it is. Now we wait," Bautista wrote.

The 1989 original starred Mel Gibson and Danny Glover as a police detective who is partnered with an older officer.

They team up to uncover a massive drug-trafficking ring, during which they encounter increasingly dangerous situations.

Leitch has worked on some major projects “Deadpool 2,” “Fast & Furious,” and “John Wick.”

Plenty of fans were immediately on board with the project with one tweeting that he would “watch this in a heartbeat.”

“Sounds like a 100 percent excellent idea,” another wrote.

Bautista has previously worked with Momoa on “Dune.”

Earlier this year, the “Marvel” actor told Collider that despite becoming a household name while playing Drax in “Guardians of the Galaxy,” he felt some parts of the character were underdeveloped.

"That role changed the trajectory of my life," he said. "It's always going to be special to me. Now that I'm four films in... I really wished they would have invested more in Drax, personally. Because I think Drax has more of a story to tell. I think Drax has a really interesting backstory which they dropped the ball on. That's no dig on Marvel. They had their slate, I know what they're focused on, that's what they have slated out. But man, I think they really missed the ball on Drax. He has such a great backstory."

The 52-year-old will appear in “Thor: Love and Thunder” next year and is also set to reprise his role of Drax in “Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3.”
