It may come as a surprise to many that one of the most highly anticipated films of 2021 is a re-edit of a movie that came out in 2017. Yet, thanks to the viral “Snyder Cut” movement, HBO Max’s soon to be released ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ is at the top of many people’s must see list. Now, with the official trailer’s release only days away, the director has given fans a clear look at his redesigned Superman.

In the now viral clip, Superman is seen wearing a black version of his iconic suit. The video was actually first seen last year but now Snyder has released the scene in high definition, giving fans a clear look at the hero’s new appearance. According to Movieweb, the black suit isn’t the only change promised by Snyder, who said “I felt like my Superman had to, at every step, sort of level up and learn something, and be something different."

Zack Snyder’s four hour version of the 2017 film has a number of changes, other than Superman’s appearance. The director previously teased the return of Jared Leto as the joker, among a number of other adjustments to the film. After a disappointing start, the ‘Justice League’ movie seems ready to finally impress fans.
