People have been spending quite a bit of money on the internet over the last few months. Whether they are investing in stocks, or buying NFTs, the internet has caused a number of prices to skyrocket since the start of 2021. Now, another beloved item is seeing a major jump in price thanks to demand; ice cream. Dolly Parton released her own ice cream flavor last week, and now pints are being resold online for $1,000.

When Dolly Parton teamed up with Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams to release her new Strawberry Pretzel Pie flavor, many fans were excited to try it out, but when the flavor quickly sold out people turned to the internet to try and get a taste. Jeni’s updated fans saying they were “working around the clock" to get more products on shelves, but with no timetable given people began reselling their pints online for absurd prices. Some pints of Dolly Parton’s flavor are currently being sold online for $1,000, according to Fox News.

While most aren’t willing to pay the internet’s high price, some apparently can’t wait to try the Strawberry Pretzel Pie flavor. Soon enough, the ice cream will be sold as an NFT instead.
