Gender reveal videos have become extremely popular online. However, this may be due to the fact that for every successful clip that gets shared, one that goes horribly wrong gets spread around the internet as well. The latest example of this comes from a couple who’s gender reveal got off to a rough start when the dad to be took a shot of confetti to the crotch.
As seen in the now viral video, the parents are preparing to share the news of their baby’s gender with their young daughter, when things take a turn for the worse. The father attempts to shoot off confetti, when the contraption fails to work. According to Fox News, he then turns it around, only to accidentally shoot himself in the crotch, quickly falling to the ground in pain. “From start to finish, everything that could go wrong definitely did," the video was captioned.
While the dad is in pain, the daughter is clearly enjoying the moment, laughing at her father on the ground. Of course, the young child then reacts negatively when she realizes the blue confetti means she will be having a baby brother instead of sister. This video is why gender reveals should be kept private.
