Food debates often go nowhere as it all depends on someone’s taste. However, one that has been going on for years may have finally come to an end. Heinz took to social media recently to settle once and for all how ketchup is supposed to be stored, and according to the brand, people should be putting their ketchup away in the refrigerator.
For years, many have wondered what is the best way to store a bottle of ketchup; leaving it out or putting it in the fridge. Now, the world knows the answer as Heinz recently posted on social media “FYI: Ketchup. goes. in. the. fridge!!!” While many were in agreement, others weren’t quite ready to give up on the debate.
According to New York Post, Heinz even put up a poll asking fans which storage method they prefer, and the results were about 50/50. Still Heinz says it should be in the fridge once opened. At least one food debate has finally been settled.
