Around this time every year, people start to think about what their New Year’s resolution may be. While standard resolutions like, lose weight, work out more, and start a new hobby will always be put to the test, a new one has popped up in recent years; decreasing screen time. Now, Kahlúa is giving people a bit more incentive, offering $25k to a couple that is willing to give up technology for an entire month.

Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur recently announced a new challenge with a five-figure prize to see if one lucky couple has the ability to give up internet-based technology for 30 days. While the couples in the competition won’t be monitored 24/7, they will have to take a polygraph test at the end of the month to prove they weren’t lying about their technology use. Kahlua claims the competition is to encourage couples to spend more time together.

The couples selected will be notified by Kahlúa, and given a "Kahlúa Kit" on wheels, which is a metal bar cart filled with 30 nights of activities, including Kahlúa Espresso Martini mixes, cooking challenges and feng shui guides. Now, the only question is; is $25k worth giving up technology for a month?
