Today is the last day to file a claim in a $725 million Facebook settlement.

If you were a Facebook user in the last 16 years, you qualify for part of the settlement for privacy violations.

Facebook was sued by users who contend the company improperly shared their information with third-party sources like advertisers and data brokers.

US residents who used Facebook between May 24, 2007 and December 22, 2022, can file a claim online.

A link to that page can be found here.

You will be asked to provide name, address, email, phone number, your user name and the payment you prefer, like Venmo or a prepaid Mastercard.

The process takes a few minutes.
