27-year-old Justin Michalowski was laying on the sidewalk early last Thursday morning when he refused medical care from St. Petersburg emergency services and asked officers for a ride home.
An officer asked if he had anything illegal on his person before he entered the cruiser. Michalowski should have double checked.

He began emptying his pockets when out came marijuana and three bags of cocaine.
Police say Michalowski attempted to hide the drugs.
According to WFLA, Michalowski was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of powder cocaine, with his bond was set at a combined $2,150.
