Household chores can be extremely time consuming, which is why many put off doing work around their house for as long as possible. However, one man recently found a way to speed up the process of at least one chore; mowing the lawn. The man built a drivable lawnmower that has an average speed of 143 MPH, breaking the world record for fastest lawnmower.
Tony Edwards, a retired air conditioner engineer, recently took his lawnmower to the Elvington Airfield in York, U.K., to see just how fast it can go. According to Fox News, the previous world record was 133 MPH, which his lawnmower easily beat. Of course, after the testing the speed Edwards had to prove the vehicle could still cut grass, qualifying for the world record.

Edwards call his lawnmower the "Mowabusa" because it's powered by the 1,300cc engine from a Suzuki Hyabusa superbike. The vehicle also uses the front suspension from a car and a trike conversion kit in the rear. With this new lawnmower, Edwards can never complain about not having time to mow the lawn again.
