A cold meats manufacturer in Chile is desperately looking for a former employee who went missing after submitting his resignation.

Consorcio Industrial de Alimentos is on the hunt for the man because for the month before he resigned, they accidentally paid him 300 times what his salary was worth.

The employee’s last paycheck, according to Fox News, was supposed to be 500,000 Chilean pesos, the equivalent of $545.

Instead, the company actually cut him a check for 165,398,851 Chilean pesos, or $180,418!

The worker initially notified his manager of the mistake, and was directed to go to the bank to deposit the excess funds.  Though the man said he would, he did not, and ceased all communication with his employer.

He then submitted a letter of resignation, and hasn’t been heard from since.

Consorcio Industrial de Alimentos has filed a complaint against the worker, alleging he was misappropriating funds, but thus far, no arrests have been made.
