Most people’s days don’t begin until they had their morning coffee.
However, for one man in South Africa; his morning routine was interrupted by a lion growling outside his kitchen window. While most would feel protected inside their home, the man’s open-air kitchen window only had mesh chicken wire separated him from the lion, making his morning quite stressful.
In the video that has since gone viral, the man shows the lion waiting outside his window, growling every time the man takes a step. “Should I go cold turkey this morning and not have coffee? What a dilemma," said Dylan Panos, the man in the video. Panos is actually a nature guide who works on the Somkhanda Game Reserve in northern KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, where the lion was spotted.
According to Fox News, the lion was one of eight that walked onto the property that morning. Panos believes the lion that was growling at him was actively pursuing a lioness for mating that morning. While skipping his morning coffee made the rest of the day harder, at least he wasn’t eaten by a lion.
