There are many iconic homes from movies and television that are actually livable homes in real life. Some have been turned into exhibits for fans to come and view. However, while there are many of these homes fans dream of visiting one day, there are some they will try to avoid at all cost. One man is hoping his recent purchase gets plenty of visits, as he bought the Buffalo Bill house from ‘Silence of the Lambs’ and plans to make it a bed and breakfast.

Back in January, New York theatrical art director Chris Rowan purchased the iconic home from ‘Silence of the Lambs’ for 290,000. Now, he plans to turn the home into a bed and breakfast, according to New York Post. While many of the features from the film are still in the home, such as the old-fashioned wallpaper, hardwood floors, pocket doors and dark wood trim, the new owner will have to do some renovations to update the old home.

Sadly, the actual home doesn’t include a torture well in the basement, but Rowan says he plans to install one to give fans the full experience. For fans of the iconic film, this may be the perfect vacation destination.
