As if he was issuing one final "Hey, Brother" salute, a cloud appeared above wrestler Hulk Hogan's funeral that many observers noted bore a striking resemblance to the shape of the man himself in one of his signature wrestling poses.
A photo taken outside the Clearwater, Fla., funeral by a pal of his was widely circulated. "Hulkamania will live forever brother! RIP my friend!" Dee Jay Silver wrote.
Pal Bam Margera noted that he saw it, too, writing on Instagram, ""If this isn't a sign then I don't know what is."
Hogan, 71, died July 24 after going into cardiac arrest. He was a larger-than-life character inside the ring and outside of it. ESPN said he "was perhaps the biggest star in WWE's long history, known for both his larger-than-life personality and his in-ring exploits. He was the main draw for the first WrestleMania in 1985 and was a fixture for years, facing everyone from Andre The Giant and Randy Savage to The Rock and even WWE co-founder Vince McMahon."
Hogan was also a celebrity outside the wrestling world, who appeared in numerous movies. He was so well-known that Gov. Ron DeSantis ordered flags flown at half-staff at all official buildings Friday, which he declared "Hulk Hogan Day in Florida."
President Donald Trump even posted a photo of Hogan on social media, saying, "They are having the 'Hulkster's' funeral today, and I thought everybody would enjoy seeing this picture."
