Tyler Morrell is a delivery driver for Cocco's Pizza Aston in Aston, Pennsylvania, and while many would consider him a hero just because he brings them fresh pies, he is being praised by local police for halting a crime in the act.
While out making a delivery in Brookhaven, PA, he spotted some police cars chasing as vehicle through the neighborhood.
As Morrell walked to get a better look, the suspect jumped out of the car and tried to run away.
Morrell can be seen taking a few steps back, before rushing forward as the suspect was crossing his path and sticking his foot out to trip the fleeing man before he was able to get away.
The suspect is then seen falling to the ground before being quickly apprehended by the officers.
Morrell told FOX29 Philadelphia that he did not have time to think, and just acted on his instincts.
"Honestly, I didn't really think about doing anything but stepping in. I was raised to step in if you see something that's not right. So, I just wanted to do my part," he said.
Morrell joked that the pizza "was completely unharmed and enjoyed" by the homeowner.
