Fans of certain television series often dream of leaving their own world and entering into the universe created by their favorite show. This is especially true for ‘The Simpsons’ as for years fans have attempted to create their own version of Springfield. Now, one fan has helped bring a bit of Springfield to the real world, creating a cookbook featuring some of the dishes that have been featured on the show.
‘Simpsons’ fan Laurel Randolph, who runs a food blog called ‘The Joy of Cooking Milhouse,’ recently announced a cookbook on the way based on her favorite show. ‘’The Unofficial Simpsons Cookbook’ is set to be released on September 16, according to NME. Some of the dishes featured in the book include; Forbidden Doughnuts, Bart’s America Balls, Lisa’s Chocolate-Cherry Experiment Cupcakes, Hot Fudge Sundaes with Tequila Ice Cream, Flanders’s Planter’s Punch, and many more.
Each dish comes with a detailed recipe, making sure fans make them just as they were on the show. Luckily for fans, the cookbook will be available just in time for the start of the show’s 33rd season. Hopefully that means more iconic Simpsons’ dishes are on the way.
