Actor Joseph Siravo died on Sunday. He was 64.

Siravo was known for roles in "The Sopranos" and "Jersey Boys." According to NJ.com, the actor passed away after a battle with both stage 4 prostate cancer and colon cancer.

Siravo's daughter Allegra Okarmus shared a tribute to her father on Instagram, according to Deadline.

“I was by his side when my dear father passed away this morning, peacefully, in his beloved Treehouse. We are both so lucky to be so intensely loved. I am so immensely grateful to have had him here on earth and I know that he hasn’t gone very far,” Okarmus wrote.

Siravo was perhaps best known for his role on "The Sopranos" as Tony Soprano's father, Johnny, who he portrayed in famous flashback scenes.

He also appeared in other TV shows and specials including "Law & Order" and "The People vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story."

The Washington, DC native also had roles in various films as well, including “Carlito’s Way,” “Motherless Brooklyn,” “The Wannabe,” “Shark Tale” and “Night Falls on Manhattan.”

Siravo also appeared in the hit stage production "Jersey Boys," for which he performed over 2,000 as gangster Gyp DeCarlo.

Several "Sopranos" co-stars have paid tribute to Siravo following his death.

Michael Imperioli, who played Christopher on the show, posted a black-and-white portrait of Siravo with a touching caption.

"Our friend and colleague JOE SIRAVO has passed away. Joe was an excellent actor and a wonderful guy and he will be missed dearly. His performance of Johnny Boy Soprano was spot on and he also made a perfect John Gotti in Nick Sandow’s 'The Wannabe'. In my opinion he was the best of all the actors who’ve played the Teflon Don. Farewell Joe. Until the next life my friend," Imperioli wrote.

Stevie Van Zandt, who played Silvio Dante on the HBO show, tweeted in remembrance of his fellow co-star as well.

"Oh no! He was so great! Deepest love and condolences to his family. Big loss," Van Zandt wrote.
