When asked what the scariest animal on earth is, a common answer most people give is either a shark or an alligator. While most humans don’t have to come across these animals too often, as both are found in the water, an encounter with either is enough to put fear in just about anyone. Now, a new video is being spread online showing a standoff between the two terrifying animals, and viewers don’t know what to be more scared of.
Tourists in Hilton Head, South Carolina recently spotted an alligator while standing on a dock near the water. The group decided to toss some food to the gator to see if it would react, but while the alligator didn’t budge, the food attracted a shark to the area. In the viral clip, the shark circles the floating alligator, eventually taking a bite of the gator’s foot; causing a reaction from both animals.
Luckily for the tourists, both animals remained in the water and eventually went their separate ways before a fight broke out. According to Bro Bible, the area the tourists were in is common for both sharks and alligators, so anyone with a fear of these animals may want to stay away.
