Last week, a photo released by the Amarillo Zoo showing a 'mysterious figure' went viral and had the community guessing what it could possibly be.
Amarillo Zoo has referred to the mysterious figure as "Unidentified Amarillo Object (UAO)."
Following the viral post and community response to the 'UAO,' multiple zoos across Texas have since revealed their own 'mysterious figures' lurking around their property.
Over the weekend, the San Antonio zoo posted a photo of a figure wandering Brackenridge Park, asking for the public's assistance in identifying the 'strange creature.'
The black and white photo bears a strong resemblance to the photo posted by Amarillo Zoo. The 'creature' in the photo appears to be a hippopotamus, but that didn't stop the community from giving their opinion of what it could be.
However, the overwhelming majority of comments agree that the figure is Timothy the hippo, the staple animal of San Antonio Zoo.
Today, Fort Worth Zoo joined in and released their own photo of a 'mysterious figure' roaming around near their security cameras.
The photo also looks identical to the previous two 'mysterious figures,' however this one appears to be an elephant.
The community has speculated it could be Fort Worth Zoo's latest addition, a baby elephant named Brazos.
What do you think? Chupacabra? Loch Ness monster? Bigfoot? Or perhaps just a clever way for local zoos to interact with the community?
