The six rings belonged to John Capps, a former security guard of the team who passed away in 2018. Capps was a beloved figure in the organization, for which he worked for 52 years.
The six rings were sold individually, according to Huggins & Scott Auctions. The rings sold for $39,360 (1991), $47,970 (1992), $45,510 (1993), $24,600 (1996), $49,200 (1997) and $49,200 (1998).
