The Philadelphia 76ers are interested in acquiring guard Jrue Holiday from the Portland Trail Blazers following the three-team blockbuster that sent Holiday to Portland and Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks, according to Kyle Neubeck.
As Neubeck mentions, there will be a big market for Holiday, as the Blazers look to move him. The Heat have been another team already brought up in rumors.
The blockbuster trade that has shaken up the NBA world on Wednesday is as follows:
Bucks receive: Damian Lillard
Blazers receive: Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Toumani Camara, 2029 1st-round pick, and two pick swaps
Suns receive: Grayson Allen, Jusuf Nurkic, Nassir Little, and Keon Johnson
New Sixers guard Patrick Beverley tweeted that the Bucks' loss of Holiday is "big":
In terms of potential trade assets, the Sixers have Tobias Harris and his $39.2 million expiring contract and James Harden and his $35.6 million expiring contract to offer.
Harden, 34, will reportedly not show up for Sixers Training Camp, as he continues to demand to be traded.
Holiday, 33, was originally the 17th overall pick in 2009 by the Sixers and he spent his first four seasons in Philadelphia.
Holiday, a two-time All-Star and one-time NBA champion, averages 16.4 points and 6.5 assists per game for his career and is a three-time first-team All-NBA defender.
