Alvin Kamara said Thursday, he hadn’t been fined, yet, by the NFL for wearing red and green shoes in the Saints Christmas Day win against the Minnesota Vikings.

“I didn’t get anything for Christmas so I’ll count that as my Christmas gift,” Kamara joked.

While Kamara said he didn’t get a gift, he gave one to New Orleans kid the next day as he essentially bought him a new bicycle.

A day after he tied and NFL record with six rushing touchdowns, Kamara noticed a group of kids riding bicycles in front of the business he’s preparing to open.

“They kind of stopped and asked me what I was doing so I was kind of telling them giving some info. And then I was asking them about the bikes (they were riding),“ Kamara said.

The kids were riding SE  Big Flyer bicycles and doing tricks with them. One of them even let Kamara ride the bicycle, although the running back said he wasn’t able to mimc the stunts.

“One of the kids he had just a regular mountain bike and the other two had the nice bikes like the SE big flyers…” Kamara said. “And I’m like ‘How much that bike cost?’  and he told me and I just gave him the money.

“And I’m like ‘Next time I see you you better have one of these bikes.’”

Kamara said he told the kids he’d ride with them once he got a bike of his own.

“I guess I’m going to be in a bike club this offseason,” Kamara said.
