KANSAS CITY – During a Thursday morning press conference, authorities said the shooting at Union Station following the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory rally appeared to stem from a dispute between several people.

Police Chief Stacey Graves said that 22 people wounded in the shooting ranged between the ages of 8 and 47 years old, half of whom were under the age of 16. One person has been confirmed to have been killed by gunfire.

Three people were detained — two of which are juveniles — and firearms were recovered during the mayhem, police said. But investigators are calling for witnesses, people with cellphone footage and victims of the violence to call a dedicated hotline.

The Jackson County prosecutor has vowed to use every tool at her disposal in the aftermath of the mass shooting that took place at the end of the Kansas City Chiefs' parade and rally at Union Station on Wednesday.

Local radio station 90.1 KKFI-FM identified Lisa Lopez-Galvan as the fatal victim in Wednesday's shooting.

Lopez-Galvan, whose DJ name was “Lisa G,” was the host of radio program "Taste of Tejano". She was described as an extrovert and devoted mother from a prominent Latino family in KC, said Rosa Izurieta and Martha Ramirez, two childhood friends who worked with her at a staffing company.
Izurieta said Lopez-Galvan attended the parade with her husband and her adult son, a devoted Kansas City sports fan who also was shot.
Lopez is the sister of Lee's Summit Mayor Pro Tem Beto Lopez, according to the city's mayor.

Children's Mercy Hospital says that they have treated 11 children, between the ages of 6-15, including nine gunshot victims. All of the children are expected to make a recovery, according to the hospital. As of Thursday morning, only three remained in the hospital.

Several other gunshot victims remain hospitalized, several others discharged.
