AL MVP favorite Shohei Ohtani was scheduled to be the starting pitcher tonight against the A's in Oakland, but a crash on the Bay Bridge lead to the team having to take BART to the Coliseum. They arrived much later than originally expected and Ohtani was unable to go through his traditional pre-game routine and thus his start was pushed to tomorrow. He's still in the lineup for the Angels as a designated hitter.
BART also disputed the reported "issue" on their system and the belief is that the Angels transferred to the wrong line as opposed to one that would take them to the ballpark.
The Angels will be in town through Sunday and if they have to take BART due to Memorial Day weekend traffic hopefully they get their transfer right next time.
