Like many football fans, Antonio Brown seems to be left pondering his future, too.
The wide receiver, who has not yet been officially released from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, made an appearance on Cameo Wednesday afternoon and alluded to his uncertain future when he was asked a question about Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer.
"Man, I'm trying to figure out my team," he said. "My own squad, what I'm doing, where I'm going."
Brown has not publicly addressed the incident from Sunday when he removed his pads and jersey and left the field at MetLife Stadium shirtless.
He is still technically under contract with the Bucs despite head coach Bruce Arians saying that he is no longer on the team following his outburst.
Brown has not shown up to practice, though, and was seen Monday still in New York attending the Brooklyn Nets game.
The wide receiver claims that the Buc coaching staff wanted him to go into the game despite protests from Brown that he was not healthy due to an injured ankle. Arians has refuted Brown's story, saying that he never mentioned his ankle at any point.
There is likely a legal hurdle the team is trying to figure out with Brown's assertion that he was too injured to play.
It is clear Brown's future is not with the Bucs and whenever he is actually released, it is hard to envision any team willing to take in Brown after the latest developments.
