Ben Simmons played his first professional basketball game since June 20th, 2021, when he was a Sixer being eliminated from the second-round of the playoffs by the Atlanta Hawks.

Of course, 16 months later, Simmons makes his return against the Philadelphia 76ers, albeit in an exhibition opener in Brooklyn.

Simmons looked mostly like himself, going 3-6 from the field for 6 points in 19 minutes, to go along with 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and a steal.

In his only trip to the free-throw line, Simmons was booed by the Sixers fans in attendance and went 0-2.

He also bricked a mid-range fadeaway jumper, which went viral on Twitter, of course.

Kyrie Irving talked about Simmons' return after the game.

Simmons will make his return to Philadelphia to face the Sixers in the regular season on Tuesday, November 22nd.
