Brother of TCU football player among those killed in New Orleans attack

The brother of a TCU football player was among the people killed in the terrorist attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans early Wednesday morning.

Jack Bech, a wide receiver for the Horned Frogs, shared on social media that his older brother, Tiger Bech, was killed in the incident. The Bech family is from Lafayette, Louisiana. Jack posted a message to his brother on social media on Wednesday.

“You inspired me every day, and now you get to be with me in every moment,” Bech wrote.

The TCU football program issued a statement offering support to the Bech family and others mourning the loss.

Details of the attack in New Orleans remain under investigation, as the community grapples with the loss.
