After the Steelers crazy win in overtime against Cincinnati, you’d think Bengals players would want to shower the stink of losing off and focus on their Week Two opponent, the Dallas Cowboys.
But according to a reporter in Cincinnati, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow sat in the locker room un-showered.
Jeremy Rauch said as the media left the Bengals locker room 45 minutes after the game, Burrow was still sitting with his uniform still on.
Rauch said the only other thing Burrow did was speak to the media.
It wasn’t a memorable performance for the quarterback that helped get the Bengals to the Super Bowl last season. Burrow was picked off four times on Sunday with a quarterback rating of 61.7. He had 338 yards and two touchdowns.
Despite those turnovers, The Bengals could’ve won the game but Minkah Fitzpatrick blocked the extra point to send the game into overtime, 20-20.
Both teams missed field goal attempts with Chris Boswell finally ending the game with a field goal to give the Steelers a 23-20 win.
Who knows if and when Burrow finally showered.
