Carton & Roberts ask: Did Cody Rhodes ever 'partake' with Snoop Dogg?

Whether it’s playing catch with an MLB superstar, cooking a meal with a celebrity chef, singing a duet with a rock star, or anything else along those lines, fans of all genres surely have things they would love to do with their heroes.

How about some, uh, “time with a legend” like Willie Nelson or Snoop Dogg, and the recreational activities they may partake in?

All Elite Wrestling’s Cody Rhodes stopped by Carton & Roberts on Monday afternoon to discuss business, and when talking about co-hosting TBS’ “Go Big Show” with Snoop, Craiggy asked Cody if he ever “worried about that second-hand smoke test.”

“Snoop has a bit of a mobile attitude; he will visit, and every now and then, you will go and visit The Doggfather,” Cody replied coyly. “The best way to answer this is this: when you’re doing a show with Snoop Dogg, the question becomes ‘do you, or do you not?’”

Well, Cody?

“Guys, we gotta live our lives here; that’s like Willie Nelson, it’s the same type experience,” Cody said. “If we’re all thinking the same thing, that’s what I’m thinking – and I hope Go Big Show gets a Season 2.”

As Craig said, “there are certain people who are known for certain things, and if you’re in their presence, it’d be a special opportunity…how do you say no to it?”

That turned into Craig asking how you say no if, say, Willie Nelson offers you the smoke, and Cody turned that around into a metaphor involving one of AEW’s lead announcers.

“If Jim Ross offers you a Moscow Mule, you’re not gonna turn it down,” Cody said. “That’s time with a legend, ultimately, and I want to have the same type of career somebody like that did. Why turn down that time with a legend?”

Guess we'll never know fo shizzle?
