The nation has been on the edge of their seats ever since Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field on Monday Night Football in a game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals.

It was the first quarter of the game when Hamlin was tackled and then went into cardiac arrest.
He was taken to a hospital in Cincinnati, where he remains in critical condition.
He’s received a slew of support from everyone from the fans to sports organizations across the nation, including his GoFundMe that’s now raised over $7 million.
The public had been getting updates on his status from close family and friends up until now. Damar released statements to his Instagram and Twitter expressing his gratitude for all the love and support he’s received.
“When you put real love out into the world it comes back to you 3x's as much. The Love has been overwhelming, but I'm thankful for every single person that prayed for me and reached out,” Hamlin wrote. “We brung the world back together behind this. If you know me you know this only gone make me stronger. On a long road keep praying for me!"
He was able to take the time to video call his teammates too, only encouraging them to push through for their final game of the season.
Doctors have said Hamlin still has a long way to go in his recovery process, but this is most definitely a promising sign for him.
