CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Deshaun Watson will start for the Browns at Jacksonville Friday night as another day passes by with no resolution to the NFL’s appeal of his six-game suspension.
The league has not communicated to the Browns that Watson would not be able to play against the Jaguars a source told 92.3 The Fan.
If Watson were to be suspended for the entire 2022 season, Watson would not be allowed to play.
ESPN’s Dan Graziano reported that Peter C. Harvey would not announce his ruling on the league’s appeal Friday.
On Thursday, the Associated Press reported that Watson would be willing to accept an eight-game ban and fine of up to $5 million.
