Aidan Hutchinson is hobbled coming off a breakout game, but he plans to play Sunday against the Vikings.
The Lions rookie defensive end returned to practice in a limited capacity Friday after suffering a thigh injury in Detroit's Week 2 win over Washington and said he's eager for his "first official road game" in the NFL.
"It's going to be fun," Hutchinson said. "They tell me that the Vikings place is pretty sweet, so I'm looking forward to it."
Hutchinson said he's not sure when or how the injury happened -- Dan Campbell called it a charley horse after the game -- only that he got up after one play "and it hurt a little bit and next thing I know, it felt worse."
But Hutchinson, who racked up three sacks last week, said he's played through something similar in the past and won't be worried about it on Sunday.
"It'll be fine," he said. "Come game time, I don't think we'll be thinking about that."
Things are also trending the right way for center Frank Ragnow, who was a limited practice participant throughout the week after missing last week's game with a foot injury. He's listed as questionable for Sunday.
So are D'Andre Swift, who's expected to play through an ankle injury for the second straight game, and T.J. Hockenson, who was limited throughout the week by a hip injury.
Safety Tracy Walker, who missed practice Thursday and Friday for personal reasons, is also expected to play on Sunday.
On the downside, the Lions will be without Pro Bowl guard Jonah Jackson, who's been ruled out for the second week in a row with a finger injury.
