Already down Golladay, Lions could also be down Hockenson

Believe it or not, the Lions will face the NFL's best pass defense this weekend in the Washington Football Team.

And they might be doing it without their top two receiving weapons: Kenny Golladay and T.J. Hockenson.

We already knew about Golladay. He missed last week's loss to the Vikings due to the hip injury he suffered in Week 8 against the Colts. He hasn't practiced since.

The Hockenson news is a surprise. He wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, but missed practice Thursday due to a toe injury.

Without Golladay and Hockenson, Detroit's receiving core would be headlined by Marvin Jones and Danny Amendola. Not the most encouraging picture.

It's a tough twist for Hockenson, who was in the midst of the kind of breakout season the Lions were hoping for. After eight games, he was on pace 720 yards and 10 touchdowns.

On the bright side for Detroit, Danny Shelton (chest), Tracy Walker (foot) and Jeff Okudah (ankle/groin) were full participants at Thursday's practice after being limited on Wednesday, and Halapoulivaati Vaitai (foot) and Nick Williams (shoulder) were back on the field.
