Amon-Ra St. Brown is one tough dude. As he said back in Week 3 before playing through a badly-bent toe, "You can't hold a good brother down for too long."

And after suffering an abdomen injury in last week's win over the Packers and missing the first two days of practice this week, the Lions leading receiver is aiming to suit up in Week 5 against the Panthers.

Asked if he expects to play Sunday, St. Brown said, "That's my goal, yep. yep."

“It’s just a little abdominal injury," said St. Brown, who's on pace for another 100-catch, 1,000-yard season through four games. "I’m feeling pretty good. I was running today. I actually think I might have hit one of my top speeds the other day, so I’m feeling pretty good.”

St. Brown said the injury doesn't limit his mobility. It's just a matter of pain management, which, given the pain he played through two weeks ago, would bode well for his chances of playing Sunday.

With 26 catches for 331 yards and three touchdowns, St. Brown is on pace for career-highs across the board. His 82.8 yards per game rank 12th in the NFL.
