Tarik Cohen may be out this season with a torn ACL, but that wasn't stopping him from trash-talking on Sunday.
The Bears running back was live-streaming himself as he watched his team's game against the Lions when he offered a little commentary on Detroit.
“The Lions suck, bro, we’re not going to lose the game,” Cohen said with the Bears up 16-6 in the second quarter. “If we lose today bro, I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
Cohen has reason talk. For one, the Lions are 4-7 and just fired their head coach and general manager. Moreover, they're winless against the Bears since the 2017 season when Cohen was a rookie.
That said, the Bears don't have much to brag about themselves. They entered Sunday on a five-game losing streak and just one game ahead of the Lions in the NFC playoff "race."
Chicago held a 23-13 lead at halftime, so perhaps the Lions are just what the Bears needed to snap out of their funk. Still plenty football left to be played, though.
