OK. Every GM talks like this after making a first-round pick. But Holmes really meant it after the Lions drafted Penei Sewell seventh overall Thursday night.
Like, really, really meant it.
Holmes could barely contain himself while talking to Sewell on the phone, and he totally lost it a few moments later.
At one point, he started pounding on a table so hard that a pen (?) came flying out of his coat pocket (?). He may have even screamed "And-1!!!" Because why not.
