The ideal Thanksgiving dinner, if you ask Dan Campbell, doesn't include turkey. Campbell prefers ham.

He broke down his Thanksgiving must-haves and won't-haves Tuesday on 97.1 The Ticket:

"Must-have is ham. I’m a big ham guy. I’m not a turkey guy, unless it’s fried turkey. Then I'm all for it. I am not a dressing fan. I’m not a cranberry fan, I’ll throw that right out to the dogs. Straight off the plate, right on the floor. Everything else is fair game, I'm all good. I’ll just load it right on top of each other, it's a full stack.”

And for dessert, Campbell said it's sweet potato pie over pumpkin pie.

The Lions quarterback is a little more traditional. Jared Goff said his preferred Thanksgiving meal is "turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, maybe green beans. Mac and cheese would be good with something. Pretty standard. Nothing abnormal.”

As for pie, "I like pumpkin," he said. "I know that’s not very popular."

Goff said one of the best parts about playing on Thanksgiving in Detroit is that the Lions have the early game, which leaves time to feast.

"The later game, you gotta miss Thanksgiving dinner, that wouldn’t be fun," he said. "But we’re the first game, so we get to eat later that night and get to play in front of the whole country while everyone’s with their family, enjoying some time."

More than anything, Campbell and Goff would both like a win Thursday against the Packers.
