Call it a get-right game.

A week after dropping the home opener in overtime against Seattle, the Lions bounced back with a 20-6 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

While touchdowns from rookie TE Sam LaPorta and QB Jared Goff powered the offense, it was a breakout game for the Lions.

Having registered just one sack through the first two games, the Lions made up for that on Sunday, getting to Desmond Ridder seven times, including two from Aidan Hutchinson, who also recovered a fumble on his second, sealing the win late in the fourth quarter.

Charles Harris, Jack Campbell, Alim McNeill, Derrick Barnes and Benito Jones each had one.

Jared Goff went 22-of-33 for 243 yards and a touchdown to LaPorta, who 84 yards on eight catches. Amon-Ra St. Brown posted 102 yards on nine catches.

The Lions head to Green Bay on Thursday Night Football this week, with the winner taking sole possession of first place in the NFC North.
